Description
log(abs(x-y)/scale) for x = y produces Floating divide by zero with NAG. This is a stupid, but we need to work around it anyway ...

This kills our trust in the reliability of jenkins, though it is a trivial thing, it is utterly getting on our nerves....

Just a word of warning: Please, do not let this ticket linger around for a long time. Although it is not really importannt, we had a lot of troubles in the past of such tasks screening the clear view on the ticket list from more important tasks and led to a lot of duplicates....
