WHIZARD should be compatible to (and in fact be part of) the ATLAS and CMS software frameworks.

I think we should discuss this seriously at the workshop, what is left to do here. I mean, if both ATLAS and CMS are using WHIZARD 2, then it is sort of integrated.

We should discuss at the enxt meeting what to do with that ticket.

Both experiments are using it now, which was probably the intention. So shouldn't we close that ticket. Is there anything further we want to achieve?

Actually there have been several ATLAS and CMS publications now with WHIZARD. We should discuss what we want, and whether there is still something to pursue here or not ...

Marcus Rammes (ATLAS) reports successful compilation and installation of WHIZARD 2 in the ATLAS software environment. Starts back validation w.r.t. WHIZARD 1.93 (in the ATLAS framework).
