Description
Prerequisite for #466. One must be able to access the information on the file names of the LHAPDF or PDF builtin file names for running alphas. (For LHAPDF it accidentally works because of the LHAPDF initialization procedures.

Yep, does what I want, namely using running alpha_s with only the pdf_builtin statement in the beams. THe Jenkins... yes, I know... working on that.

This should be fixed in r3740. The QCD parameter setup for the process object is now done separately after the process and beam setup. JR: Please check if this suits your needs, then close this ticket.
NB: There is something wrong elsewhere that breaks the NAG compiler build in Jenkins.
