parallel-tests is a feature of automake from version >= 1.11.0. Here, 1.10 was the installed version. Now, everything is working again. In r1886, Thorsten took the parallel tests out of the trunk again. For the future, we just have to change AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE([1.10]) to AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE([1.11]) in the configure.ac in the future. As this is a developper version only, it does not do any harm.
