Now (r1664) WHIZARD compiles without O'Mega/O'Caml. make dist gives

back just an empty tar ball, make distcheck is broken of course. But there is not a chance to switch them off.

Maybe we need to fine-tune this, but I guess only for the final release.

OK, had to step back a little because of the full version. make dist now already crashes, which is only an aesthetic nuisance.

r1672 includes a description and a warning for the failure to make distxxx targets in the manual. Since dist targets are anyhow only for developers, this is enough. Closing.
