Discuss W1 option take-over into W2

We have to decide which options should be taken over into W2 or not, that are not yet available... Just put a 'yes' or 'no' behind the option.... (WK, this affects mostly you!)

1) use_efficency 2) time_limit_adaptation 3) write_/read_grids (several options) 4) binary grid files 5) generate_phase_space (does not make much sense, ne?) 6) phase_space_only 7) write_phase_space_channels_file (does not make much sense) 8) extra_off_shell_lines (guess, it's obsolete) 9) splitting_depth (covered by new PS algorithm??) 10) exchange_lines = phs_t_channel ??? 11) single/double_off_shell_branchings/decays 12) massive_fsr (still necessary?) 13) threshold_mass = phs_threshold_s ?? 14) threshold_mass_t = phs_threshold_t ?? 15) default_jet_cut/default_mass_cut ~ phs_m_scale ?? 16) default_q_cut ~ phs_q_scale ?? 17) default_e_cut ~ phs_e_scale ?? 18) n_events_warmup (guess its obsolete now??) 19) write_weights/write_weights_file (seems to be obsolete too) 20) safety_factor (???) 21) events_per_file/bytes_per_file (THIS I CONSIDER IMPORTANT!!!) 22) conn. to 21) min_file_count, max_file_count 23) guess_color_flow (obsolete? I guess so, because it was only

relevant for processes where the color flow info was missing)

24) fragment/fragmentation_method (related to the shower tickets,

but should be steerable now from the main whizard)

25) conn. to 24: pythia_parameters, pythia_processes 26) time_limit (might still be useful?) 27) warn_empty_channel (?) 28) screen_events, screen_histograms, (could be interesting for

debugging?)

29) we have an equivalent of screen_diagnostics, don't we? 30) show_pythia_initialization does not seem to have an effect at

all :(

31) show_pythia_statistics 32) show_input, show_results, show_phase_space, show_histories,

show_history, show_weights, show_event (??)

33) show_cuts (this is not implemented at all in W2) 34) show_histograms (seems not to work in W1 anyhow) 35) show_overflow, show_excess (do they do anything actually?) 36) plot_width, plot_height, plot_excess (guess they are there in

W2?)

37) plot_grids_channels (is make grids supported at all in W2???) 38) plot_grids_logscale (quite useful ;)) 39) there are zilions of parameters to switch on or off part of the

output for the logfiles... do we need/want them???

40) what about the command line parameters from W1??
